Your elected "representatives" DELIBERATELY permitted the Illegal Alien (not immigrant) problem to get out of hand. "bush" berated American workers, "Americans don't want to do the work". He omitted the other portion of the equation, "for the wages offered". Americans need higher wages because they pay the taxes extorted by the "politically correct" Congress (they think they are the UN) to pay for the illegals' welfare, health, education and other social services. There must be something more in "Amnesty" for these politicians. They cannot possibly beleive that anyone who illegally entered, used false or forged documents, failed to register with the Selective Service, evaded tax on their wages, as did many employers, and other crimes can possibly make an honest citizen. The price of citizenship, a $2,000 fine will be more than reimbursed by the "earned income tax credit" as no one expects them to honestly report their earnings.
The image of the protestors' desecration of the US Flag turned me away from any sympathy for the illegal aliens. It is time for us to protest to and about our "Representatives", who stand up only for their own political agenda, while the President denigrates the electorate, the American worker.
"bush" together with Democratic and Republican Senate Leaders, orchestrated by Rove, initiated a coordinated effort to force their illegal alien agenda down our throats. The Senate PASSED S.2611, the "compromise" amnesty bill. The Senate no longer represents Americans. Vote Senate incumbents out of office in the Primaries! If you don't, S.2611 WILL become law after the elections. "Amnesty" will be passed by the treacherous (R) and the traitorous (D) politicians. The Socialist (D) chants about the "new" citizens: "millions of Americans below the poverty level" will begin at your expense. Our environment, culture, resources and country will deteriorate. Corruption on both sides of the aisle has reached new heights.
Write "your" President and Congress now! IF you write now, S 2611 can be defeated in any "compromise" (give away). The conference between the House and Senate can make this an American victory. If not, Vote all incumbents out in the Primaries or in November elections. There is nothing worse than the arrogance of incumbent Senators. We are a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; not a Government by the Politicians feathering their nest. The political parties no longer answer to Americans; soon a politician may not answer to their party and we will have a Dictator. Do something now! N.B.: President Roosevelt stated "...immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself... "An IMMMIGRANT is NOT an ILLEGAL ALIEN! The "illegals" are law breakers and trespassers, at a minimum, terrorists etc. at the worst. "bush" may make them citizens, but never "Americans".
Seems to me, President "bush", together with machine elected Senators Kennedy and McCain, are saying, "If we can't export your job, we will import cheap labor." (H2 / H1 visas, S2611 A/K/A Amnesty for illegal aliens). Presidents Eisenhower and Nixon had the guts to expel illegal aliens, but "bush" lacks the testicular fortitude, just as he lacked it on "911", when he fled to Kansas from Sarasota.

Since then, the average is about 1 million, plus illegal immigrants". The CIS shows a dirrect correlation between increased legal and illegal immigration. There are 6 Billion "poor" in the world. If we continue to let them come at will, we will be among the poor. We already have taken in 10% of the citizens of Mexico.
